Sometimes the best way to play golf is just to go out there and try to have fun. And when you do that, you might just shoot 68 as a 76-year-old in a U.S. Senior Amateur qualifier.
Pete McDade, a resident of Apollo Beach, Fla., qualified for the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship at Martis Camp Club in Truckee, Calif., from August 26-31 after finishing second with a two-under 68.
“I feel great,” McDade said after qualifying.
