COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - Round two at the 7th Fall Classic is in the books with some familiar leaders in place. The second round was played on the Club Course at Flying Horse. It was another post-card type of morning in Colorado Springs, although the wind started to pick up in the afternoon. Tomorrow's forecast calls for cooler temperatures and more wind.
Jonathan Valuck picked up where he left off yesterday, and cruised around the Tom Weiskopf layout to the tune of another 3-under round of 69 to lead the Senior Division by five strokes over Joe Sposi.
Gregory Goode continues to lead the Super Senior Division after a second round of 2-over 74. Robin Rubrecht sprinted out to 4-under through 12 holes, however he had to settle for a 1-under 71. He was able to cut into Goode's lead, which is now four strokes.
Sean Forey continues to lead the Legend Division following a second round 77, which puts him at even par for the tournament. He leads by eight strokes over George Walker.
Congratulations to our leaders on their fine play in gusty conditions coming down the stretch. Good luck to all in the final round.
